What is Danielle's education and how long has she been practicing?
|
Danielle did her undergraduate work at Washington University in Saint Louis and the Cooper Union in New York City. In 1995 she completed her Masters in
Traditional Chinese Medicine at the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe, NM. She is a Licensed
Acupuncturist in Massachusetts and a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in New Mexico. In New Mexico, D.O.M.s are classified as primary care physicians, so she is used to
seeing patients in that capacity. Her post graduate work has been focused on the exploration of and development of energy medicine. Central to her approach in
healing is her spiritual practice and the practical application of Quantum Physics and Noetic Philosophy. She has been practicing for over 15 years. Click on

How do you know what is the best treatment for me?
|
I often start our initial conversation by asking what your intention is for seeking treatment. For some, our approach may focus on the physical condition that
presents itself, for others it may focus on the under lying psycho-spiritual aspect. We usually start with an in depth initial interview in which I diagnose to
ascertain your constitution using Traditional Chinese Medicine methods, applied kinesiology, as well as
other integrative or alternative diagnostic tools. We then create a treatment plan together. For details on treatment modalities look under
Tools For Healing.
|
How long does treatment normally take, how many appointments, how often?
|
This varies greatly and will depend on your specific presenting issues.
|
Do you treat children?
|
Yes! Children often respond very well to my treatments.
|
Do you treat allergies?
|
Absolutely. How I treat allergies varies according to the situation presenting itself and may involve one or more modality. Firstly, Traditional Chinese Medicine
addresses the root cause of allergies quite well and often this can be an excellent way to go. About 15 years ago, I studied and became an advance practitioner of
NAET and JMT as well as several other alternative allergy treatment modalities. I now practice primarily Neuro-Modulation Technique
which I find to be an amazingly effective and durable treatment for many things including allergies. I also find that Emotional Freedom Technique is a powerful adjunct
for some. My allergy treatments are overall successful with varying amounts of treatment necessary to either completely alleviate the allergy or to decrease sensitivity
in varying amounts. Children and people with anaphylactic reactions often respond very well.

What is your view of Western Medicine?
|
Western medicine is valuable and has its place. It is a reductionist approach to healing which, simply put, means that larger
parts are broken down into smaller and smaller parts to try to understand how the body works (ie the liver is collection of cells which are a collection of molecules
which are a collection of atoms, etc.). Eastern medicine and energy medicine is holistic. That means that we understand that the body is more then the sum of its parts.
Western Medicine is illness based and is geared toward treating symptoms while Chinese Medicine and Energy Medicine is wellness based, focuses on the underlying root
cause and our natural optimum movement toward health.
Both view points are valuable, recognizing and utilizing the strengths and weakness of each will lead to the quickest, and most durable healing.

How do your phone treatments work?
|
Simplistically: E=mc2. Ultimately we are made of energy. Our bodies, biological systems, organ systems and cells are made of energy. The chemistry which drives
our biological organism is itself driven by energy. If we can change the energy of something, we change the matter of it. My ability to sense the energy field
of the client, and the imbalances therein, is not limited by distance, nor is my ability to influence the flow of energy. It is possible to give a very effective
and beneficial distance healing treatment to a client in a remote location, even thousands of miles away. Click on Distance Healing for more information.
